Park facilities

The park has a range of sports and refreshment facilities. Please note that toilets are only available during the Lakes Cafe’s opening hours (see below).

Lakes Cafe (Open Monday, Thursday and Friday, 10 -4pm)
Sailing (Croydon Sailing Club and Croydon Youth & Schools Sailing Association)
Fishing (the season runs from 16 June to 15 March). Please visit the council website for the rules of the lake and how to buy fishing tickets (select 'licences' in the drop down list).

Cricket pitch - home to the Norwood Exiles club

Bowling green with pavilion - home to South Norwood Lakes Bowls Club, see charges
Children's playground
Refreshment kiosk (currently closed. Anyone interested in taking a lease for the kiosk should contact Croydon Council: parks@croydon.gov.uk)

Waterside Centre

The Waterside Centre houses the Lakes Cafe and rentable rooms, managed by Croydon Voluntary Action (CVA). Local groups and organisations offer activities to the community, including UNACC lunch clubs and classes.
